Slip the nut over the brake hose and press the cutting ring over the PTFE hose (inside the outer braid) until it reaches the stop. Then push the AN4 swivel fitting through to the cutting ring and into the PTFE hose. Now screw the nut onto the AN4 swivel fitting so the cutting ring expands to the PTFE hose. When this is done, the application can be used with the rest of the AN4 brake system without leakage.<\/p>\n

If cutting ring is disassembled from PTFE brake hose it is consumed and the end of the hose needs to be cut away for new leak-free mounting. Extra cutting rings are available separately.<\/p>\n
