Staged activation of fuel pumps
\nWhen using two or more fuel pumps that do not run all the time but are activated gradually, a non-return valve is mounted to prevent fuel from being pushed back to the fuel tank, making it harder for the primary pump to maintain pressure.<\/p>\n
Keep fuel in spreader bridge
\nWhen the engine is switched off, fuel slowly flows back to the tank, and the fuel bridge empties. This introduces air into the fuel system and makes the engine difficult to start.
