The board contains a powerful Motorola 9S12XEP100 which is also used in the Megasquirt 3.
A Tunerstudio basic setup for the S38B36 engine can be found under Downloads.

Features:
- Cable harness and sensors can be used without changes
- Inductive sensor of cylinder 6 is used as camshaft sensor
- full-sequential ignition and injection can be realised via additional plug
- adjustable knock control with TPIC8101
- integrated 3-bar boost sensor
- integrated SD card data logger with real-time clock
- input for K-type exhaust gas temperature sensor
- boost control
- CAN bus (e.g. for dashboards, displays or accessories)
- several inputs for circuit switching, launch control, etc.
